The difference in knowing the path and walking it.
How’s your faith in God? I often ask this question and surprisingly the response is usually something about religion. Somewhere along the way humanity lost sight of the reason we have our religious belief systems.

WHY RELIGION WAS CREATED
Although some would argue control, religion was put together as a way of helping others make a spiritual connection to God. True religion not only provides moral support but spiritually sound direction as well.
The Emperor Constantine the Great converted to Christianity (312) and thus decriminalized that religion within the Roman Empire, later convening the Council of Nicaea (325) early Christianity was consolidated into what would become the State church of the Roman Empire (380).
Again, some argue consolidation to control the people, however, rationality suggests a simpler explanation. That after finding faith and belief in God, and realizing the importance of religious guidance, the state moved in such a way as to consider their place as a unified nation, (under God).
Don’t forget various religions were formed before Christianity and The Roman Empire with an understanding of that there’s more to life afterlife, spiritually speaking, and that as we live in a certain manner we avoid unrighteousness altogether gaining happier more fulfilling life experiences while doing so.
I grew up baring witness of the world and like most I didn’t understand religion. I’d seen poor examples of character in nearly every aspect of life. From television to class rooms and there always seemed to be someone who made unrighteousness look normal.
I’d often encounter folks with religious backgrounds who only made it worse, professing God but then doing the very things they’d tell others not to do. Hypocrisy! (the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one’s own behavior does not conform; basically operating under false pretense)
The part of religion I didn’t get was the why. Although I believed in God I didn’t yet know Him and because I didn’t know Him, or rather because I wasn’t yet known by Him, It was hard for me to know His Ways.
Religion surely wasn’t explaining it in a way that made sense anyway. The doctrine and the rules, stand up, sit down, pray, sing, put on a smiling face and pretend everything was alright. What I truly needed was an explanation that could help me put it all together.
Not Knowing The Way The Worldly Condition
Searching for answers I found there are many ways to find God. Some religions claim to be the only way and others disbelieving in The Lord altogether. Some filled with so much ancient tradition (orthodox), that they’re in complete disregard of others beliefs and even some religious practices who carry outdated beliefs, which have no business in this day in age.
The religion I was raised up being told to believe in, turns out was a fear-based one. I learned they kept their followers in line tied to tradition that they themselves had trouble following. Being hypocritical in action was merely one misleading aspect of their belief system, their basic hierarchy kept it so that in order for their followers to reach God they had to go through the church. It all seemed so way out of alignment.
Like all who don’t understand “The Way” I fell into the world and when I finally found my way back to God He asked something of me. He asked my opinion of The Bible and my thoughts on religion.
THE NEED FOR RELIGION
When God asked me to bring a new religion to the world I hadn’t thought of what it would require. My first thought though was to please Him and knowing that I could accomplish anything, I didn’t hesitate to say yes. Perhaps it was my boldness that got the better of me, but the idea of working with God on anything was motivation.
Looking back in retrospect, the difficulty in gaining the understanding and wisdom to realize the need for such a thing, nearly matched the reasons for the world needing it. And, you have to appreciate the irony, how much we lack understanding as a world that we would need reminders and road maps how to live a life worthy of eternity.
Religions over the years have aspired to guide us to this place, they’ve tried to help us with living an upright and righteous life according to God. Though it seems today the very religious ones overly complicate and sometimes even misuse power and wisdom, the fundamental ideology of religion still stands true. We’re all in need of spiritual discernment and with everyone having an opinion, we need a place where the truth reigns supreme, a place of absolution.
I found “The Truth” within The Holy Bible.
The infallibility of God’s Word is challenging for some to grasp, especially if they’re consumed with themselves or with the ways of the world. The idea that we aren’t in control of our own lives troubles many. So when we speak of spiritual matters, things beyond the understanding of the material world, its no wonder there’s confusion.
Religion was meant to instill order, to unify, to help us live a more spiritual life in the material world but due to poor example many have fallen, turned away or altogether forgotten how to stand upright in love fearlessly. There are forces at work we’re all up against, and as we grow in life it becomes evident there’s a battle of good and evil going on.
Most spiritual manuscripts acknowledge the struggle between good and evil, in-fact since the very fist religion was created we’ve continuously tried to help others remain mindful of The Way that would be best for everyone. The religions of the world today seem to have lost sight of this. (There’s no fear in love)
Also, God is and has always been The Most Important aspect to life itself and nothing, not even religion, should come before Him. The prevalent religious problems we see within the world or whats commonly referred to as religiosity, has necessitated the need for a greater spiritual understanding! It’s why God sent me.
MESA FAITH WAS CREATED FOR;
Christianity is an Abrahamic monotheistic religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth. Its adherents, known as Christians, believe Jesus is The Christ, The Son of God, and The Savior of all people, whose coming as The Messiah was prophesied in the Hebrew Bible, called the Old Testament in Christianity, and chronicled in The New Testament.
Jesus’ apostles and their followers spread the message of faith and salvation around Syria, Levant, Europe, Anatolia, Mesopotamia, Transcaucasia, Egypt, and Ethiopia, despite persecution. It soon attracted gentile God-fearers, which led to a departure from Jewish customs, and, after the Fall of Jerusalem, AD 70 which ended the Temple-based Judaism, Christianity as a religion officially began.
Early Christianity covers the Apostolic Age (1st century) and the Ante-Nicene Period (c.100-325 CE), up to the First Council of Nicaea in 325 CE. The first part of the period, named after the lifetimes of the Twelve Apostles as narrated in the Acts of the Apostles, is called the Apostolic Age. The Great Commission is the instruction of the resurrected Jesus Christ to his disciples to spread his teachings to all the nations of the world.
By the beginning of the Nicene period, the Christian faith spread throughout Western Europe and the Mediterranean Basin, as well as to North Africa and the East. Christianity remains culturally diverse in its Western and Eastern branches, as well as in its doctrines concerning justification and the nature of salvation, ecclesiology, ordination, and Christology.
Christianity played a prominent role in the development of Western civilization, particularly around Europe from late antiquity and the Middle Ages. Despite a decline in adherence in the West, Christianity remains the largest religion in the world, with about 31.2% of the population identifying as Christian. (2.3 Billion adherents)
Jesus as the Son of God—the logos incarnated—who ministered, suffered, and died on a cross, but rose from the dead for the salvation of mankind; as referred to as the gospel, meaning the “good news”, in the Bible (Holy Scripture).
Belief in God The Father, Jesus Christ as The Son of God, and The Holy Spirit. Not only having a belief but faith and not only having faith but a relationship and not just any kind of relationship, but a spiritually unifying one.
Unions are something we honor and respect. We witness them when we see couples professing love for one another and joined together in what God calls a Holy Matrimony.
Divine Spiritual Unions are quite similar, the difference being a unifying spiritual relationship with God, filled with His Holy Spirit, living together openly as one. Doing everything in harmony for something or someone greater than one’s self.
The Flower of Life
THE MESA FAITH
“till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;”
I often meet people who say they could never do the things Jesus did. — I ask why not? Why not aspire to do things greater than Jesus? There’s nothing wrong with wanting to make the world a better place. There’s nothing wrong with having faith and exercising it in The Lord, the same way Jesus showed us. There’s nothing wrong with being bold faithfully and fearless in a world telling you not to be.
Our religion was brought forth because there are many in need of understanding why Jesus lived and died, why we’re to live with God in unity and why so many religions are missing the mark. I’ve witnessed many claiming a belief in God or an adherence to religion, I’ve witnessed many show poor example, turning others by mistaking a belief for a relationship.
Some belief systems place more emphasis on following a tradition than they do with living righteously with God. Some religions even have trouble acknowledging Jesus as The Christ, and for that they miss the gift of salvation, again, thinking belief in God is enough to save us from sinful action, meanwhile others suffer because of their worldliness.
Mesa Faith was established to help all who believe in God. As Christians though we have the responsibility of living The Way Jesus revealed. We have this responsibility whether we call ourselves Christian, Spiritual, Religious, or an unbeliever, we’ve all been charged with this simply for being alive.
God created life with purpose and on purpose and with a very specific way He wanted for us to live – in Love. Jesus was the first one to teach of us unity in the faith, he was really the perfect example for life with God. Understanding Christianity reveals not only are we to adhere to “The Way” but we’re to practice now as a precursor to afterlife.
The message of togetherness and unity isn’t a new one, since the beginning, God has always desired relationship with us. The New Testament speaks of oneness, unity, living as one in love with God. Perhaps one of the greatest blessings Jesus gave was teaching how to live in perfect harmony with The Lord.
Mesa faith is an answer to one of Jesus’ prayers. JOHN 17:22-23 – AND THE GLORY WHICH YOU GAVE ME I HAVE GIVEN THEM, THAT THEY MAY BE ONE JUST AS WE ARE ONE: I IN THEM, AND YOU IN ME; THAT THEY MAY BE MADE PERFECT IN ONE, AND THAT THE WORLD MAY KNOW THAT YOU HAVE SENT ME, AND HAVE LOVED THEM AS YOU HAVE LOVED ME.”
